Start with a world you know, then carve it, fill it and grow it into somewhere nobody has seen before. You will edit real Terraria worlds in the free TEdit editor, then save and share a world of your own.
Day Β· ForestThis little world is drawn live, just like the one you edit in the Studio. Click it to change the time of day and watch the sky.

Two ways to learn this: the full series needs the paid Terraria game plus free mod tools (tModLoader and TEdit), so it is a home-computer job best with a grown-up. But you can start right now, with no install, in the browser studio, on any computer including a school one.

Ember says: we build in small steps, and each one ends with something you can actually see in the world. No giant leaps. By the last episode you will have your own world that you can load, save and share.
Plan a layout in your browser before you open TEdit. Pick a tile, click or drag on the grid to paint, then download your plan. This bit needs no install and no game, so you can start right now.
Tip: paint the ground first, then stone, then trees and chests on top. "Save plan" gives you a file you can open again or build from in Episode 3.
