Ember says: playing your own world is the best feeling, and also the best test. Walk it like a player, not a builder, and you will spot the small things fast.
๐Ÿ› ๏ธ
Try it right here: walk and test a world before you play the real one. Press Start walk test and move around your build. This is the real Terraria World Studio, live in this page. Open it full size โ†’

  • 2Press Single Player and choose your finished world.
  • 3Wait while it loads. If a red line appears, go back to Episode 10 and fix it first.

Walk It and Feel It
Test the real collision and layout
Locked
๐ŸŽฏ
Goal for this step

Feel how the world plays, not just how it looks.

  • 1Walk from your spawn point along your paths. Walk, jump and fall where a player would.
  • 2Check the collision. A wall that looked fine on the map can feel too tight in game.
  • 3Try to get stuck on purpose. If you can, a player will, so note it down.
  • 4Write a short list of the things that feel wrong. You will fix them in Step 4.

Check Biomes and Buildings
Make sure every area looks right
Locked
๐ŸŽฏ
Goal for this step

Check that every area looks how you planned.

  • 1Visit each biome you built. Walk to the edges, not just the middle.
  • 2Stand inside your buildings and look at the lighting. Some rooms are too dark to enjoy.
  • 3Check the join between areas. A hard edge between biomes can look wrong in game.
  • 4Add each thing that looks off to your list from Step 2.

Fix the Last Small Issues
One at a time, then re-check
Locked
๐ŸŽฏ
Goal for this step

Fix the small problems you found, one at a time.

  • 1Close the game, then open the world in TEdit and fix one problem from your list.
  • 2Save, load the world again and check that one fix. Small steps are easy to trust.
  • 3Change one thing at a time. If something breaks, you know exactly what did it.
  • 4Stop when the list is done. Chasing perfect forever is not the goal.
