GDevelop Mod Studio
Build a game project in your browser

A little project maker for the GDevelop series. Lay out a 2D game on a grid, tick the GDevelop events you want, read a broken log and choose the fix, then download a GDevelop build sheet with your object list and event sheet ready to recreate in the editor.

Make your own art and sounds: draw sprites in Pixel Studio and make music or sound effects in Sound Studio, then bring them into your project.
Ember
Ember says: GDevelop is free and made for building games without writing code, just events. This studio writes your object list and event sheet for you, in the same Condition and Action style you use in the editor. Your work saves automatically.

Lay out your scene

Pick an object below, then click squares on the grid to place it. Put the Player where you start and a Goal at the end. Click a square again, or use the eraser, to remove it.

Objects

Your scene so far

Each object becomes an object in your GDevelop scene. The mini map below is a bird's eye view of where they sit in the game.

What is in the scene

    Add scripts

An event is a condition and its actions, exactly like GDevelop. Tick the ones you want and the Studio writes them. Start with Player move so you can move, and Coin collect so collecting does something.

    Your scripts

Each ticked event is written into your Events.txt sheet.

    Name your project

    Live preview

This is your Objects.txt list. Every object you place is listed with its type, size and colour.

    โœ… Ready check

A GDevelop scene runs cleanly if all of these are true. The Studio fills most of them in for you.

How this maps to real GDevelop

Objects.txt lists what to add to your scene (a Sprite or a Shape painter, its size and colour).

Events.txt is your event sheet: each condition with the actions under it.

Conditions are things like Key pressed or Collision between two objects.

Actions are things like Change position, Delete object or Change a variable.

Run it: GDevelop is free to download, then press the Preview button.

      The GDevelop log

Click the red line, then choose the fix. Plain lines are normal.

      What is the fix?

      Download your project

This bundles everything into a zip: Objects.txt, Events.txt and a README. Add the objects to a GDevelop scene, then rebuild each event from the sheet.
