A race to the crown ⚔️

Call of the Cards is a head-to-head competitive card game. Both players share a central Quest board whoever completes quests fastest and manages their gold wisest will claim 5 Victory Points and win.

On your turn, you spend Gold Cards from your Bank to recruit Companion cards or purchase Artifact cards. Gold untaps at the start of every turn, so the economy flows fast.

Three Quests are always available in the centre. When you have enough combined Power from your Companions and Artifacts, you can complete a Quest to earn Victory Points.

Permanent Artifacts stay in play and give ongoing advantagesthe right combination can completely change your strategy mid-game.

👑 Win Condition

Be the first player to accumulate 5 Victory Points by completing Quests. There is no draw someone always claims the crown.

⚔️ Quest-Driven Victory
Three Quests are always face-up. Complete one by meeting its Power requirement to earn VP. New quests replace completed ones immediately.
🧙 Build Your Party
Recruit Companions like the Captain of the Guard and Elf Archer to pool Power. Each has a Gold cost and Power value.
💎 Collect Artifacts
Permanent Artifacts (Ring of Courage, Shield of Ages, Sword of Dawn…) grant ongoing bonuses and stack with your Companions.
💰 Gold Management
Your Bank holds Gold Cards that fund everything. All Gold untaps each turn spend wisely, recruit aggressively, and don't let your opponent outpace you.

Final Eight Artifacts Balanced
The Sword of Dawn, Amulet of Renewal, and six more Artifacts have been finalised and added to the official decklist. Power levels feel much better the Sword in particular went through four iterations before clicking.
