Block out a level in your browser

A little level blockout tool for the Godot, Unity and Blender series. Place floors, walls, ramps, pillars and platforms on a ground grid, spin the 3D view, then export a real OBJ mesh and a level.json you can open in your game engine.

Make your own art and sounds: draw sprites in Pixel Studio and make music or sound effects in Sound Studio, then bring them into your project.
Ember
Ember says: every level starts as a blockout, plain shapes that prove the space works before any art. Place floors and walls, add a ramp, spin the view to check it, then take the mesh into Godot, Unity or Blender. Your work saves automatically.

Block out your level

Drag the canvas to spin the view, scroll to zoom, and click a piece to stack another on top. Pick a piece on the right, and use Erase to remove one.

Pieces

Pick a piece, then place it. Floors and platforms are walkable, ramps join heights, and spawn and goal mark the start and end of your level.

Your level

    Pieces

Each piece is a real shape in the export: a box or a ramp. Click one to make it active, then place it on the canvas.

    Level list

This is what your export will build. Each line is one piece with its grid position.

    Live preview

This is the start of your level.obj mesh and your level.json piece list. Every piece becomes vertices and faces, or a line of data.

    โœ… Ready check

Your level is ready when all of these are true. The Studio fills most of them in for you.

How this maps to real engines

level.obj is a standard 3D mesh: vertices and faces. Import it into Godot, Unity or Blender.

level.json lists every piece and its grid position, so you can rebuild the level with your own objects.

Ramps export as real wedge geometry, so slopes work straight away.

Keep going: use the blockout to prove the space, then add art and gameplay in your engine.

      The model log

Click the red line, then choose the fix. Plain lines are normal.

      What is the fix?

      Download your project

This bundles everything into a zip: level.obj, level.json and a README. Import the OBJ into Godot, Unity or Blender.
