✉️ Media Enquiry →J. Valentine is a UK-based children's author and designer behind JVDesignStudio. Their work spans picture books, tabletop games, and digital experiences all crafted with the belief that brave doesn't always have to be loud, and that every heart has a spark that can never be dimmed.
J. Valentine is the author and designer behind JVDesignStudio a creative studio making children's picture books, tabletop games, and digital experiences. Their books explore themes of resilience, curiosity, kindness, and quiet courage, including the widely shared Lumo and the Grumble-Grit, a story about carrying invisible struggles with patience and strength.
After years of learning how to carry their own "Grumble-Grit," J. Valentine creates stories that don't try to fix hard things they sit with them honestly, and show young readers that a different kind of strength is still strength. JVDesignStudio is based in the United Kingdom.
