Deep in the Sunken Valley, a small pink-gilled axolotl named Echo faces her biggest challenge yet a towering mountain with a sparkle-sharp peak scratching stars in the sky. At the top grows a legendary flower that changes colour wherever you go.
Echo is a Junior Scout swimmer, nervous but determined. The mountain seems impossibly large. She trips, slides backwards, gets lost in mist. But with encouragement from the patient Shelly the Snail, and her own growing courage, Echo discovers that mountains aren't climbed all at once they're climbed one small try at a time.
When the obvious path fails, Echo learns to think differently zigzagging sideways when straight ahead won't work. When mist hides the peak, she follows only the next step her lantern lights. And when she finally reaches the top, the flower blooms with all her colours: pink for pride, blue for bravery, gold for joy.
